Friends, games and ideas since around 2016

A random name thatsomehow stuck.

Community · Games · Software · Questionable ideas

The story began around 2016 with a small group of friends, games and too many ideas. The name LuzeN came later and stayed - first with the community, then with servers, a computer service, games, software and whatever we build next.

How it started

What is LuzeN?

Part group of friends, part name for whatever we decide to make next. There was never much of a plan.

The people

LuzeN started around a small group of friends who already knew each other in real life. Games and Discord later brought in people we met online, creating a wider community around that core.

The ideas

The same name followed us into videos, servers, websites, software, games and plenty of ideas that never reached a finished version.

Projects

Things we've built, tried or left unfinished.

Currently building

2D Survival

A top-down survival RPG focused on exploration, progression and a world that can keep growing. Built slowly as both a game and a place to learn how larger systems fit together.

The story

It started with people. Everything else kept changing.

  1. Around 2016

At first, there were three of us. We were kids, played games, recorded silly videos for YouTube and talked about esports, channels and projects we had no idea how to make.

  2. The name

LuzeN appeared later and almost at random. It had no planned meaning. It simply became the name of the community and stayed while games, people and ideas changed around it.

  3. Over the years

The group grew. Some people were friends we already knew in real life, while others joined through games and Discord. Counter-Strike, Valorant and Minecraft became the games we shared most, alongside servers, meetups and countless smaller ideas.

  4. Now

The esports plans eventually faded, but LuzeN stayed. It is still the name of our community, and now also the name behind the games, software and other projects we decide to build.

Stay in touch

LuzeN is still around.

Discord is the easiest way to find the community. Current development is led by Matuzh and shared through his GitHub. For everything else, send us an email.
